After many months of planning the day had come to pack and hit the road to Virginia Beach. I had been looking forward to their sunset wedding since their engagement session under the snow which was magical at the old Luckett store.
On the day of the wedding I finished packing my gear and took the elevator down to her suite at https://westin.marriott.com/. As I walked in I was greeted by the bride, her bridesmaids and family getting ready and just soaking in the excitement that was in the air.
When I first saw Camille for the first time in her wedding dress it breath taking!
She gave her girls their gift and lastly gave her mom a beautiful gift, hugged and cried. Everyone in the room was overwhelmed with emotions watching mom and daughter share this moment right before she walked down the aisle
When we got the venue @signaturewestneck, guests were making their way into the venue looking elegant and all smiles. As I walked in I soaked in the Victorian feel with many pictures of Camille and Darel throughout the years around the place. I made my way out to a beautiful wrap around porch under a tent with the sun setting on over the lake on the right. The table were adorn with a rustic/ summer touch with lavender and green floral arrangements and floating candles inside tall cylinders.
The day was perfect; Camille and Darrel read each other their vows, sealed their promise with a kiss and jumped the broom, a family tradition.
Bride and groom portraits were taken by the lake a signature spot at the @signaturewestneck and they danced their way into the reception. There was so much laughter and dancing from the youngest to the oldest. We grooved to the soul train song and ended the night with a sparkler exit. It was a night to remember.
